ABOUT THE AUTHOR
 

Born and raised in Louisiana, the author using the pseudonym Açil Pichon,  fell in love with writing as a young girl.  Açil used writing as a tool for healing and self-expression. Today, she resides in the sunshine state, where she combines her passion for helping others find independence with the work she does for the Florida Department of Education.  When she’s not writing, you can find her spending time with her loved ones or exploring new places—travel is her favorite escape.
